The second volume focuses on the Kielce press, discussing: propaganda comics of the socialist realism period, the 1960s and 1970s, when extensive narrative forms dominated (from "Sergeant Cienia" to "Hubal"), short works and reprints from the Western press (Francophone, German and the American), the use of comics in press advertising, competitions, strategies of publishers and owners with regard to the publication of picture series, the 1990s and 00s, when authors deciding about the shape of the comic in in subsequent years - Jerzy Ozga, Dariusz Żejmo, Robert Łysak, Grzegorz Sobczak, Marcin Kot, Dariusz Rzontkowski and several dozen other authors. They were confronted with older authors who try to use the poetics of comics. A separate chapter is devoted to the figure of Zbigniew Jujka, whose works were published in the Kielce press for half a century..
